Previously we discussed all the amazing Benefits of Side Plank – Vasisthasana and today we will be taking it one step further, visually and physically breaking the pose down together. Now, we have already broken down Plank Pose and it’s variations however, I encourage you to take a look back at Plank, ensuring you feel comfortable and stable in the pose.
As we break down the pose below, I truly encourage you to practice each variation to see which one you find more comfortable for your practice today. Remember, when practicing yoga, and in life, listen to your body. While yoga can push us out of our comfort zones and make us uncomfortable, there is a difference between uncomfortable and painful.
