A Beautiful Place to Practice and Yoga Class Review – Florida

With the sun still rising, and tiny rain clouds floating by, we had a soft breeze in air.  I unrolled my mat over the morning dew covered grass and admired the scene before me.  The waves gently bumped onto shore, sail boats bobbing in the marina, butterflies and birds landing gently as they pleased.  This is Sunday Funday.

The music started thumping as fellow yogis strolled upon the lawn, you could feel the magic.  Claudia, a local yoga teacher and owner of Pineapple Yoga Studio with her amazing vibes put on this beautiful donation yoga for Selby Botanical Gardens.  Both are located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida and both are certainly worth the trip.  Claudia has a beautiful teaching style and a way of instantly making you feel at home.  Featuring one of my favorite local DJ’s, DJ Neon Tiger, you cannot help but dance your way through your flow!

The gardens are a local spot I love to support.  A destination of many events, especially weddings, it is simply a gorgeous place to soak up the beauty of nature or go read a good book while the boats come in.  Piers and benches located throughout the grounds it really is a great hang out beyond coming to explore for the day.  Donation yoga has been offered here before as well and, offers a new beautiful spot somewhere in the gardens each time.  The events put on are listed on the Facebook page if you are a local or a traveling yogi check it out.
